A poor performance by the Blues Chelsea FC in their first match of the year, 2019, after they failed to score against Southampton FC, regardless of being the better side in terms of stats and attempts.
The Blues Chelsea didn’t have their ideal game, in terms of injuries, with the absence of Oliver Giroud and Pedro. Moreover, Willian got injured in the first half and got subbed for the English youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek who was okay but couldn’t score for Chelsea.
Chelsea needs to splash the cash this month for a striker and right winger in order to compete for the top four this season, amid the fierce competition for the top four.
