Liverpool FC fans are thrilled after the UEFA have announced the list of the best players nominations awards which included two Liverpool FC players who helped their team reach the UEFA Champions League finals.
Liverpool FC have reached the UEFA Champions League final and played against the La Liga giants, Real Madrid, where the Premier League giant lost 3-1 due to defensive mistakes which were mostly committed by Liverpool’s German goalkeeper, Karius.
The UEFA have released the list of the nominated players for the best players and it included two Liverpool players, here is the full list of the players nominated:
The best goalkeeper award: A.S. Roma’s goalkeeper and current Liverpool FC goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, Buffon, and Kaylor Navas.
Best defender award: Raphael Varane, Marcelo, and Sergio Ramos
Best midfielder award: Kevin De Bruyne, Toni Kroos, and Luka Modric.
Best forward award: Mohamed Salah from Liverpool, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi.
Knowing that Mohammed Salah left the pitch with an injury after the dangerous tackle by Sergio Ramos, Real Madrid’s defender, but that didn’t prevent him from being nominated among Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as the best three forwards in the UEFA Champions League last season.
