Manchester United seem they are getting closer and closer to announce a world-class defender after a deal is reported to be reached between the two clubs.
Manchester United are eager to see a new defender in the squad that will help the team win points next season where the defense was one of the main reasons Manchester United were losing points last season.
According to several sources such as London Press and other sources, Manchester United have finally reached an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur over their English international defender, Toby Alderwireld, so the Manchester giant will be able to negotiate with the player for the personal terms.
Tottenham Hotspurs agreed to sell their world cup defender for a fee of 55million British Pounds, where what’s remaining are the personal terms between the player and Manchester United.
The reports confirm that the deal is close where the player’s agent is demanding 200,000 British Pounds a week salary, and a five years contract where Manchester United may not really mind, especially in this sensitive case and last days of the transfer windows.
